I have lived in this area for 46 years. My husband  Fred and I own a wheat farm north of Walla Walla in the Clyde area. We divide our time between our farm, where we have a home, and our home in Walla Walla. We have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren.

Singing has been part of my life probably since before birth. My mother was a music teacher—both choral and piano—and was a church organist. She accompanied my dad, who did a lot of singing. She did the same for me, starting in Junior High. One of my most treasured memories is of myself standing in the choir loft at church across from the organ and singing the hymns my mother was rehearsing. That was in the 50's and I still enjoy singing! I sang under Kraig Scott at St. Paul's Church for 10 years.

I joined Walla Walla Choral Society in 2005. In 2006 I was elected to the board. I am co-chair of our annual benefit dinner, An Evening to Remember.

I especially enjoy classical and sacred music but am also fond of popular music-probably because it's easier for me to sing! I enjoy singing with Choral Society very much. I like the variety of music and consider it a privilege to able to sing with such a talented group of people. It is a tremendous lot of fun.
