Debbie Rood has been singing with the Choral Society since 1992, and has been on the Board of Directors since 1997. Prior to her current term as Choral Society President she also served in that capacity from 2003 to 2005.

In 2005, Debbie opened a private mental health practice, Stepping Stones Counseling which serves couples, families and individuals throughout the Walla Walla Valley.

She has sung and recorded with the Washington, D.C., Christian recording artists, Azure Fields from 2002-2004, has been an alto section leader at St. Paul's Episcopal Church since 2005 and also sings with the Walla Walla University Community Choir.

In her spare time, Debbie enjoys reading, playing the piano, traveling, and spending time outdoors hiking, camping, and canoeing with her family.
