Lyle Rooff, a native of New York, relocated to Walla Walla about 30 years ago after having lived all over the world. In high school and college he performed with various choirs and madrigal ensembles. He also plays bassoon, clarinet, bass clarinet and keyboard, and occasionally makes forays into the brass instruments as well. Lyle has played with the San Diego County Symphony Orchestra and the Walla Walla Symphony Orchestra. He currently plays in the Walla Walla Valley Bands, sings with the Walla Walla Choral Society, and enjoys fooling around with his karaoke machine at home.
